Resources & Downloads

ApexBeam provides downloadable technical resources for warehouse planners, procurement teams, and logistics integrators. Product catalogs, specification sheets, compliance documentation, and installation references are available by email request. Eight detailed racking guides are also available free online without registration.

Downloadable Resources

The following documents are available on request. Email sales@njapexbeam.com with your name, company, and the resources you need, or use the contact form on our contact page. We respond within one business day.

Product Catalog (PDF)

Complete catalog covering all 14 storage system types with overview specifications, typical configurations, and application photos. Suitable for initial system evaluation and internal presentation to stakeholders who need a visual overview before detailed engineering begins.

System Specification Sheets (14 Systems)

Individual specification sheets for each system type: selective pallet rack, long span shelving, VNA racking, drive-in rack, push-back rack, gravity flow rack, cantilever rack, mobile rack, multi-tier shelving, open floor mezzanine, shuttle rack, radio shuttle 4-way, AS/RS racking, and rack-supported building. Each sheet lists load ranges, dimensional parameters, and standard configurations from our verified specification database. Use these for preliminary selection; final values are confirmed by engineered calculation per project.

EN 15512 / FEM / RMI Standards Comparison

A reference document explaining what each major racking design standard covers — EN 15512, FEM 10.2.02/10.2.03, ANSI/MH16.1/RMI — and which one applies based on your project location and contract requirements. Includes a cross-reference table mapping equivalent clauses across standards. Suitable for engineers and specifiers who need to verify code compliance in their jurisdiction. Also available as an online guide: Racking Standards Explained.

Load Capacity Selection Guide

A practical reference for determining required load ratings based on pallet weight, beam span, and safety factors. Covers UDL vs. point load distinctions, deflection limits (L/300 serviceability), and how to read mill test certificates. Intended for buyers and planners who want to understand what drives load capacity before requesting a quote.

Container Loading Reference

Illustrated guide showing how ApexBeam packs racking components for ocean freight: upright frame bundling, beam nesting, accessory boxing, and weight distribution within 20 ft and 40 ft containers. Useful for logistics teams planning freight volumes and estimating landed cost per pallet position.

Installation Manual Sample

A representative installation manual excerpt showing the format, detail level, and content structure of our installation documentation. Includes assembly sequence, anchor bolt patterns, torque specifications, plumb and level tolerances, and safety procedures. Review this to understand what your installation team will receive with every shipment.

Free Online Guides

The following guides are available to read directly on our website — no download or registration required:

  1. The Ultimate Guide to Pallet Racking — all 14 system types explained with selection logic, code requirements, and comparison tables
  2. Rack Load Capacity Calculator — how to determine required load ratings and understand safety factors
  3. Selective vs Drive-In Racking — when to choose each system based on SKU count, rotation method, and density requirements
  4. VNA vs Selective Racking — trade-offs between aisle width, equipment cost, and throughput
  5. Pallet Shuttle vs Drive-In — semi-automated deep-lane storage compared to conventional drive-in
  6. Racking Standards: EN 15512, FEM & RMI — what each code covers and which applies to your project
  7. Seismic Design for Pallet Racks — localized dynamic analysis methodology and code requirements by region
  8. Warehouse Racking Cost Guide — cost drivers per pallet position and how configuration choices affect total project cost

These guides are written for warehouse planners, procurement managers, and logistics consultants evaluating storage options. They reference data from our verified specification database and link to relevant product pages for detailed parameters.

How to Request Downloads

Email sales@njapexbeam.com with:

  • Your name and company
  • Which resources you need (list by name above)
  • Your project location (so we can include the applicable standards reference)

FAQ

Are the downloadable resources free?

Yes. All resources listed on this page are provided at no charge. We ask for your name and company so we can tailor the standards reference to your project location. There is no obligation to purchase.

Do the specification sheets replace engineered calculations?

No. Specification sheets show standard configuration ranges for preliminary selection only. Final load capacities, member sizes, and connection details are confirmed by project-specific engineered calculation and drawings. See our services page for the full engineering process.

Can I get resources specific to my country's building code?

Yes. When you request resources, specify your project location. We include the applicable code references (EN 15512 for Europe, ANSI/MH16.1 for Americas, or local equivalents) and any region-specific seismic design guidance. Our seismic design guide covers methodology for multiple regions.

How current are the specification sheets?

Specification sheets are updated whenever our verified specification database changes. The data source is the same database used for project engineering, ensuring consistency between preliminary selection and final design. Contact us if you need confirmation that a specific parameter reflects the latest revision.

Do you provide CAD files or BIM models?

Project-specific CAD drawings are produced as part of our engineering deliverables after order confirmation. Generic BIM models are not currently available as standalone downloads. Contact our team if your project requires BIM-compatible output and we will discuss options.
