About ApexBeam

ApexBeam is an engineering-led industrial pallet rack supplier based in Nanjing, China, serving warehouse operators and logistics integrators across 19+ countries since 2007. We provide structural design, code-compliant engineering, quality-controlled production at audited partner plants, and on-site installation support for 14 storage system types.

What We Do

ApexBeam operates as a single-point supplier for warehouse storage systems. Our in-house structural engineering team designs and verifies every project to the applicable code set — EN 15512, FEM 10.2.02/10.2.03/10.2.19/9.831, ANSI/MH16.1, or local equivalents — before production begins. All racking is produced at audited partner plants under our QC and traceability protocol, with steel mill test certificates traced per coil batch.

We supply 14 system types spanning light-duty shelving to fully automated AS/RS and rack-supported buildings up to 37 m — covering manual picking through fully automated operations. Engineering Capability

Our structural team handles the complete design cycle internally:

• Layout and configuration — optimized for your floor plan, SKU profile, truck type, and throughput requirements
• Structural calculation — member sizing, connection design, base plate and anchor verification per the governing code
• Seismic analysis — localized dynamic calculation to EN 16681, FEM 10.2.08, or project-specific seismic regulations; we have delivered projects in active seismic zones across Asia and the Americas (see our seismic design guide)
• Tolerance and clearance verification — per EN 15620 for static systems; tighter tolerances for AS/RS stacker crane interfaces (±2–5 mm positioning achieved on delivered projects)
• Rack-supported building design — integrated structural analysis where the racking carries roof and wall cladding loads per FEM 10.2.03

Every design output includes a signed calculation report and stamped drawings. We do not pass off generic catalog data as project engineering. For projects involving automated systems, we coordinate interface tolerances directly with stacker crane, shuttle cart, or conveyor suppliers to ensure mechanical compatibility before production begins. Our team also evaluates existing warehouse conditions when retrofitting or expanding installed systems, accounting for floor slab capacity, column grid constraints, and operational phasing requirements.

Compliance and Traceability

ApexBeam maintains verifiable compliance documentation rather than marketing claims:

• EN 15512 attestation — our adjustable pallet racking is independently attested to EN 15512:2020+A1:2022 by UDEM (Cert. M.2023.206.C82720, valid to 13 March 2028). This covers structural design verification, not self-declaration. Read more in our racking standards guide.
• Steel traceability — mill test certificates are retained per coil batch. Standard grades include Q235B, Q235D, Q355B and Q355D from Baosteel and Rizhao Steel; Q460C is available for high-load applications. Certificates are available for review upon request.
• Third-party inspection — independent inspection agencies can be engaged at any production stage at the buyer's request. We coordinate access and documentation.
• Load notices — every installation ships with rated load signage showing permissible unit loads per level, consistent with the engineered calculation.
• Beam deflection — serviceability limit held to L/300 across all beam types, verified by calculation.

Export logistics are managed from Nanjing. Standard products typically ship 20–30 days after order confirmation. We provide container loading plans optimized to reduce per-pallet freight cost, along with all required export documentation and shipping drawings. Responsibility and Accountability

When you contract with ApexBeam, our team assumes responsibility for:

• Design integrity — structural calculations bear our engineer's review; if a design error occurs, we correct it at our cost
• Production quality — QC inspections at each stage from raw material receipt through packaging; non-conforming components are rejected before shipment
• Documentation completeness — layout drawings, load calculations, installation manuals, and load notices delivered with every shipment
• After-sales response — technical support for installation questions, reconfiguration requests, and warranty claims via email and phone

We do not outsource accountability. The same team that designs your system manages production oversight, shipping coordination, and post-delivery support. If a component fails to meet specification during QC inspection, it is rejected and replaced before shipment — not shipped with a note. If a design revision is needed after installation begins, our engineering team issues updated drawings and load notices within the project timeline. Warranty claims are handled directly by our team, not routed through a third-party agent.
